Warranty
Every MOTUS N.01 is covered by a 2-year limited warranty from the date of delivery when purchased from dorventi.com. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including the serpent motion display.
What is covered
- Defects in the automatic movement under normal wear
- Failure of the serpent display module caused by manufacture or assembly
- Crystal, case, or crown defects present from production
- Finishing defects that exceed normal production tolerance
If a covered defect appears, we will repair the watch, replace it with an equivalent MOTUS N.01, or refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not reasonably available.
What is not covered
- Normal wear: hairline marks on the case, strap aging, lume fade
- Damage from drops, knocks, or crushing
- Water damage after the case has been opened by anyone other than DORVENTI or an authorized partner
- Use beyond the 10 ATM rating (diving, hot tubs, saunas, solvents)
- Unauthorized repairs, parts, or modifications
- Lost watches, theft, or cosmetic customization
- Straps and spring bars after 6 months of wear (consumable parts)
How to request service
Write to hello@dorventi.com with “Warranty — [order number]” in the subject line. Include a description of the issue, clear photos or a short video of the dial and movement, and proof of purchase.
If the claim is accepted, we send an RMA and prepaid shipping label for covered defects. Do not send the watch until we confirm. Service time is typically 3–6 weeks after we receive the watch, depending on parts.
Water resistance
MOTUS N.01 is rated 10 ATM (100 meters) when new. Water resistance is not permanent. Gaskets age. After any case opening, the watch should be pressure-tested before exposure to water.
Rinse with fresh water after salt or chlorine. Do not operate the crowns underwater.
Accuracy & regulation
Automatic movements vary with wear position, temperature, and winding. Typical daily variation is within industry norms for this class of movement. Extreme gain or loss after a full wind may indicate a defect — contact us for diagnosis rather than opening the case.
Transferability
The warranty applies to the original purchaser and remains with the watch if you gift it, provided the original proof of purchase is supplied. It does not apply to grey-market or unauthorized-reseller purchases.
